Snoozi ("we", "our", or "us") is a mobile application that creates personalized bedtime stories for children using artificial intelligence. We are committed to protecting your privacy and your children's privacy.
Important: Snoozi is designed for use by parents/guardians to create stories for their children. Children should use the app under parental supervision.
📊 Information We Collect
When you use Snoozi, we collect:
- Account Information: Email address and name from your Google account when you sign in
- Generated Content: The stories and illustrations created in the app
- Usage Data: App interactions to improve our service
- Photos (optional): If you upload a photo to personalize a story character
- Purchase Information: Records of in-app purchases (processed by Apple)
We do not collect:
- Children's personal information directly
- Location data
- Contact lists
- Sensitive personal data
- Payment card details (handled securely by Apple)
🔧 How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and save personalized stories
- Manage your account and credits balance
- Process and verify in-app purchases

💳 In-App Purchases & Payments
Snoozi offers in-app purchases for credit packages:
- 50 Credits - for creating stories
- 250 Credits - for creating stories
- 500 Credits - for creating stories
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, store, or have access to your payment card information.
Important information about purchases:
- All purchases are one-time, non-recurring (consumable)
- Credits do not expire
- Purchases are non-refundable except as required by applicable law
- For refunds, contact Apple Support through your purchase history
- Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency
🤖 AI Content Generation
Snoozi uses Google Gemini AI to generate stories and illustrations. When you create a story:
- Your story topic and preferences are sent to Google's AI services
- Generated content is stored in your account
- We do not use your content to train AI models
All generated content is designed to be child-friendly and appropriate for bedtime stories.
🔒 Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored securely using:
- Firebase Authentication: For secure sign-in
- Firebase Firestore: For storing your stories and account data
- Firebase Storage: For storing generated images
All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
👨👩👧 Children's Privacy (COPPA)
We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA):
- We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
- Parents/guardians must create and manage accounts
- Story content is generated for children but controlled by parents
- Parents can request deletion of their child's data at any time

We use the following third-party services:
- Google Firebase: Authentication, database, and storage
- Google Gemini AI: Story and image generation
- Apple App Store: App distribution and payment processing

🗑️ Account Deletion
You can delete your Snoozi account at any time. Here's how:
- Step 1: Open the Snoozi app
- Step 2: Go to your Profile tab
- Step 3: Scroll down and tap "Delete Account"
- Step 4: Confirm by entering your email address
- Step 5: Tap "Delete Account" to confirm
What gets deleted: Your account, all generated stories, uploaded photos, credit balance, and purchase history will be permanently removed.
Important:
- Account deletion is immediate and irreversible
- Unused credits will not be refunded
- All data will be removed from our servers within 30 days
- If you cannot access the app, email us at rolley.daniel@gmail.com to request deletion
🍪 Cookies & Tracking
Snoozi does not use cookies for tracking purposes. We may use local storage on your device to:
- Keep you signed in
- Store your language preference
- Cache stories for offline viewing
